Vision for Wyoming

Our city deserves a thriving economy that supports local services and businesses. I believe in cultivating an environment that supports local businesses, attracts new services, and nurtures innovation. We’ve already begun the journey with the record-breaking fundraising campaign, coupled with state grants to transform the Village Green into a state-of-the-art entertainment space for the city. We’ve also anchored new businesses such as The W, Cladwell, and coming soon Gilligan’s on the Green. By adhering to our masterplan, we can develop a Wyoming that fosters collaborative public spaces, amenities to attract and retain talent, and support businesses who call Wyoming home. 

A safe and well-connected community is the cornerstone of our quality of life and a hallmark of Wyoming.  Our roads and sidewalks demand attention. Currently on Council, we’ve invested in the rehabilitation of Compton and Vermont and are currently developing a masterplan to rehabilitate all our roads in Wyoming. I sit on the Public Safety commission and are addressing concerns at the intersection of Hilltop and Compton. As your representative, I will advocate for improved road maintenance focusing on a prioritized plan to address one of Wyoming’s most critical needs. 

Central to my vision is the concept of unity. We are a diverse community, each with our own stories and aspirations, bound by our shared commitment to Wyoming. We’ve already made strides in augmenting collaborative spaces by adding the Work + Shop. We are extending the hike/bike trail improving community mobility and connection.  We’ve added the Crescent Park Playground to ensure play is accessible for everyone. Together, we can build bridges of understanding, foster an inclusive environment, and support local initiatives that address the needs of all residents. Let's create a city where everyone feels valued, where opportunities are accessible to all, and where no one is left behind.
